Entre 2010 et juin 2015, 53 thèses ont été soutenues dont 5 thèses en co–tutelle avec l’étranger, 43 sont en cours de réalisation. Dix post-doctorants ont été accueillis dans les différents laboratoires. La valorisation scientifique des recherches menées au sein de la SFR se traduit par un total de 354 publications à comité de lecture entre 2010 et juin 2015 (0,278<IF<12,367) avec, depuis 2011, un bilan de 1,1 publications /EC/an (soit plus 2 publications /ETP chercheurs /an), dont 10% cosignées par au moins deux laboratoires ou des chercheurs de disciplines différentes (section CNU différentes), ou en partenariat avec des laboratoires du réseau REIVE (Basse-Normandie, laboratoires partenaires de la SFR SCALE) dans le cadre de projets nationaux ou internationaux . La politique de dotation des allocations doctorales (réseau REIVE) et en équipement (équipement de site atelier / dotation d’équipements analytiques performants / appui sur les réseaux de surveillance) exerce un effet levier pour le montage de ces projets nationaux et internationaux.
